It’s Photo Shoot Day. I want you to pretend that a very important person is visiting your home today.

The future buyer of your home is a very important person at this time. It may not be one of the gentlemen in the photo but you get the idea. We are taking these photos so that we can find that future buyer…or better stated, they will find your house and like it.

I want you to pretend that your home is being featured in House Beautiful Magazine.

I am going to use these photos on lots of websites…my domains Integrity-RealEstateServices, Integrity Realty, Choctaw County, McCurtain County, Fort Towson Homes, etc…, plus other websites that I use, plus they will be picked up by additional major websites such as GOOGLE, YAHOO, AOL, etc. So that’s even better than being just in one magazine edition.

I want you to pretend that a million people are going to be viewing your home. I don’t know how many people will be looking at the photos of your home, but we’ve made the steps to make sure that the price is right AND this will promote more viewings both of your photos online and viewing the property in person by buyers.

I want you to pretend that the photos of your home are going to be viewed world wide. They will be!

On that note, these photos should show a clean home that is clutter free, has tasteful décor, flowers, etc.. Remember we are pretending to shoot for a major magazine today.

We want to show a home that is inviting and well-lit.

While on this subject, hopefully this is also the way that you home will look on showing days that buyers view it.

The photo taker will be backing up into corners to shoot the room to make it look as large as possible. A step stool may come in handy for the photographer to step up on… sometimes they will be squatting to get the right photo.. Many photos will be taken of all areas.

All of that hard work that you did on the lawn… it’s time to show it off. We’ll be shooting the street scene also.

When I load these photos into my computer, I looking over them carefully, choosing which ones to use. I often end up with 50 or more that I’ll use in our marketing.

Next in this series: Showing Day.
