EXIT Bob Linn Real Estate Hosts 25-G Celebration

On the evening of September 3rd, 2009, a group of approximately 100 people gathered at the Quail Creek Country Club in Oklahoma City. The event was EXIT Bob Linn Real Estate's first 25-G Celebration. The highlight of the night was the special skill competition between the 35 Realtors® present who had sold one or more of the 50 eligible 25-G properties.

The participating Realtors® were shown a special slide show highlighting 10 properties that had sold and closed in the state of Oklahoma over the previous 12 months. As each picture was shown, they were given a brief description of the home and then allotted approximately one minute to write down their estimate of the selling price of the property. At the end of the slide show, their estimates were then totaled and the Realtor® coming closest to the actual total selling price of the 10 properties combined was declared the winner of the $25,000 Grand Commission Bonus Prize. A few participating Realtors® had sold more than one of the 50 properties and were given one guess for each eligible property sold. Realtor® teams who had sold eligible properties participated in the competition as a team also. Of the participating Realtors®, 25 were non-EXIT agents and 10 were agents in one of the EXIT Bob Linn Real Estate offices.

When all the estimates were totaled, the very excited winners of the $25,000 Grand Commission Bonus Prize was a team from EXIT Bob Linn Real Estate's Edmond office with only one eligible property sold - Janet Holt and Jim Lee.

According to Bob Linn, because of the possibility of a $25,000 bonus commission, Realtors® were excited to show a 25-G listing, therefore enhancing the seller's odds of having a quicker sale. The average days on the market for the 25-G listings were 35 days less than other properties, making it an easy decision for the seller to agree to the payment of an additional $500 in commission at closing. Because of the success of the first 25-G program, a second one is well under way, with over 10 properties already sold and closed.
