It all began some 40 years ago when Janine D’Auteuil moved to the City of Brampton, Ontario from Quebec, in Canada.

At a time when few women ran their own businesses, Janine fulfilled her dream. She opened her very own beauty care salon in 1969 with a staff of only herself and a receptionist in a 400 square foot space in Brampton’s popular neighbourhood indoor mall, Shopper’s World.

Ten years later, as Janine's loyal clientele grew she decided to relocate within the mall to a much larger location comprising of about 2000 square feet. There was no stopping Janine now with her new modern upscale store. Her staff grew to 15.

The staff of women, do not just service their clientele, they develop relationships with them.

There is a wide range of services provided here at Janine Beauty Care including facials, microdermabrasion, manicures, pedicures, waxing, body massages and a complete day of beauty services.

Fast forward to today in 2009, Janine Beauty Care, is a truly run family business. Working as hard as Mom, is Janine’s daughter Michelle, both of them completed their training at the Edith Serei school.

Janine’s other daughter Andree and her Granddaughter Kayla are also part of this thriving business. There are 12 other dedicated staff members who love to please their customers, who can't help but return time after time to enjoy being pampered.

During the current economic slow down it is surprisingly busy in the salon. They have also added men’s services including hair removal from their faces, chests and the new popular hairless heads!
