Oakville Community Info - Santa Claus Is Coming to Our Town.....


If you are like me or my kids, you start getting excited this time of the year. Time goes fast... too fast so when we can take some time to enjoy the simple pleasures life gives us we must seize the opportunity. So let's get excited.... Santa Clause is coming to the town of Oakville this weekend!

Before you start to panic about holiday shopping, putting lights and decorations up take advantage of a holiday event you don't have to do anything to prepare for... most of us anyway.

Santa is taking a break from his hectic schedule to join in Oakville's Santa Clause parade this weekend, Saturday November 15, 2008. The parade is to begin at 9:00 am rain or shine. This year is the 60th anniversary of Oakville's Santa Clause Parade and the theme is "A Child's Magical Christmas". Having gone for many years now, I invite all of you to join in the festivities and kick of the holiday season this weekend.
