More good economic news for Ontario's Simcoe County.
Local municipalities got a huge boost of cash from the Ontario Government. The one time only injection was based on population. But the good news is that everyone got there fair share. Estimates for jobs is a added 11,000 new jobs in Ontario will be create because of it.
This of course is good news for those of us in the real estate business. Growth in jobs geared towards infrastructure is long term thinking and planning. Roads, bridges and transportation links are all long term projects that see benefits for years to come in the real estate sector. The much discussed "ripple affect" will be felt throughout Simcoe County.
Here is the breakdown of cash received by town:
Barrie: 12.2 million
Orillia: 2.8 Million
Simcoe County: 5.5. million
Midland: 1.2 million
Innisfil: 2.3 million
Collingwood: 1.28 million
Penetanguishene: $698,057
Oro-Medonte: 1.4 million
Wasaga Beach: 1.1 million
This kind of money, if put to proper infrastructure developments, will affect real estate values in single family homes, multi-residential and commercial properties for years to come. Another good reason to invest in real estate for Barrie, Orillia, Midland, Innisfil, Collingwood, Midland and the Muskoka's
