It's a frosty, blue sky morning on our return home trip travelling East from downtown Toronto. I'm sitting strategicaly by the window on the North side of the train. I'm able to compose my blog post and record the occasional video without interference from the bright sun! (posting of the videos will have to wait until I'm home)
The first stop after leaving Union station is Guildwood Station. Near Pickering the train parallels the "Highway of Heroes".
At Oshawa station I checked for an Oshawa blogger and found that Dianna Mandzuk was the licensed Active rain member with the most blog posts/points. I noted that Dianna does not belong to any groups so right after I post this I'm going to invite her to join the Canada, eh group.
Currently in this part of Ontario there's not much snow cover on the open fields and not much more in the wooded areas. The vegetation is in shades of brown, spotted in white, broken only by the evergreens.
2:00 - Kingston. I already posted that Susan Emo is the top licensed ActiveRain member blogger for Kingston and I might add all of Frontenac County. But after Susan it's Chris Morris and since he is not yet a member of the Canada, eh group, I'll also invite Chris to join the group. Upon checking his profile I discovered he has been blogging on his blogger account for some time now and only became an ActiveRain member just before Christmas.
As I post this the train is pulling out of Cornwall.
