The Ambassador Bridge connects Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan. It spans the Detroit River and, at 1.75 miles long, was the largest suspension bridge in the world when it was completed in 1929. Today it is the busiest international crossing in North America, with more than 25% of all USA and Canada merchandise trade crossing the bridge each year.
