Internet Safety Workshop for Parents

Internet Safety Workshop for Parents - September 23rd, 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Toronto Police, together with Toronto Public Libraries, CultureLink and University Settlement is putting on a workshop, designed to teach parents and guardians about the dangers that children are exposed to, every day, on the internet.

Some of the topics will include;

- what to do and not do online (safety and communication)

- how to report online abuse

- how to protect personal information

- which websites your child may be accessing

- etc.

The speaker will be Liz Sauter, Community Liaison, 52 Division, Toronto Police

This is a FREE workshop.





The workshop is taking place at the Lillian Smith Library, at 239 College Street, at College & Spadina.

You can take the 510 streetcar south, from the Bloor and Spadina subway, and get off at College Street.

You can also take the 506 streetcar West, from the Queen's Park subway station.
