"GENERAL STORE is a multi award-winning Bluegrass Band hailing from Southern Ontario. Their jaw-dropping 3, 4, and 5 part vocals have won them fans everywhere they play. The band excels at Traditional and New Bluegrass music. These include instrumentals which have gleaned their mandolin player, Norm Tellier, two well-deserved "Mandolin Player of the Year" awards. Their two CDs, 'Open for Business' and 'More in Store' have garnered multiple award nominations, and airplay all around the world. Their shows are lively and fun-loving with just the right mix of material - foot-stomping, sing-along, tear-inducing, and some occasional silliness."
While in Leaskdale you may want to locate the old St Paul's Presbyterian Church and Manse, the Leaskdale home of Lucy Maude Montgomery, where the following weekend November 11, 12 & 13 the Lucy Maude Montgomery Society of Ontario will be holding their Step in Thyme Artisans Christmas Gift Sale
