2011-12 Mid Month - Buyers Activity Report

December has seen web site visitor activity slow down from November of 2011, however it is up from December of 2010. This increase is a good indicator of where the market may be headed in the early months of 2012 compared to 2011.

Both the median price and average price of homes viewed this month are up from November. The Average list price of homes viewed rose from $513,813 to $589,680 reflecting the number of very high end properties viewed, 6.5% of all homes viewed were over $1,000,000. It is also affected by the number of lower end properties not viewed 15.5% under $300,000 with only 1 under $200,000

The two graphs below represent the average and median price range of homes that potential buyers are looking at on one of my web sites.
