Announcement Carrie-Lynn Macleod, Accredited Seniors Agent Windsor, Ontario

I am excited to announce that I have built on my 16 years of real estate experience. I recently achieved my designation as one of the first few Accredited Seniors Agents in the City of Windsor. This new knowledge will better enable me to service those in the mature and seniors real estate market along with their families.

With the population of Windsor, Essex County aging the old ways of handling real estate transactions will not provide the diligence and services that will be required in the coming years. I have been trained to deliver the highest standard of excellence in servicing those in the mature and seniors real estate market.

I understand the basics of real estate tax planning, estates, capital gains, transition moving and for those in need of care facilities, care takers and other related services. My retired parents owned and operated a number of senior's facilities across Ontario and I grew up around this environment.
I am conscious as a real estate professional that there is a lot more to listing and selling a home than just the paper process. It takes time and consideration of people's certain needs and requires a strong team of experts both within and outside of the real estate business. I have a full complement of top quality financial advisors, tax consultants, appraisers, handymen, transition managers and other necessary contacts to assist in a reduced stress move.

I have learned that a reverse mortgage may not be the best option for Windsorites and can recommend other methods that can save money, when funds are needed.

There are more than 90,000 Realtors in Canada and less than half of one per cent has earned the prestigious Accredited Seniors Agent professional designation. I am proud to be in this elite group and am looking forward to helping seniors and putting my knowledge to use.

One of my focuses is on the mature and seniors market and I promise that I have the patience and the professional tools to provide excellence of service.
