365 Things to do in Bend, OR - Eat & Drink for Charity @ 10 Barrel Brewpub. 10 Barrel Brewpub is one of Bend's newer restaurants / brewerys located on Galvelston Ave. This evening dinners at 10 Barrel will can eat for a for a graet cause - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon.

All proceeds from the evening as well as 100% of t-shirt sales will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon. This is their second month having a charity night. In June, they sponsored Volunteers in Medicine.

Dine for a Cause begins at 5pm.

If you haven't been to 10 Barrel Brewpub, no more excuses. 10 Barrel Brewpub has a fun atmosphere with good sized patio. The dining room has garage doors which open to the patio making it a great place to enjoy the spring and summer weather both inside and out. The food and beer are great. But you'll need to arrive early or plan for a wait. Here's a peek at their menu.

Last time I was at 10 Barrel was packed. I went with a couple neighbors and all our kids. There was as usual a wait, but we managed to entertain ourselves with a beer. We shared the Smoked Salmon Antipasto for an app. For dinner I enjoyed the Rib-eye Chopped Salad, the hubby enjoyed the BBQ Pork and most importantly the kids liked their pizzas which makes for an enjoyable experience overall. The portions were large and the food and drinks were delicious! If you are bringing kids they are welcome until 11pm although I personally recommend an early family dinner.
