Free fishing Day at Detroit Lake

No license? No problem.

Free fishing weekend, this Saturday, June 7th, is your opportunity to try fishing anywhere in the state, without having to buy a license. We hope you'll discover a sport that you'll want to do again and again.

If you have a friend who's never fished before, this is your opportunity to introduce him or her to a pleasurable, life-long activity or take the kids to a free fishing weekend event.

Join the fun at Detroit Lake. More information can be obtained by calling Greg Grenbremer at 503-854-3522

Other areas of the State are sponsoring similar events. Clamming and crabbing are free on the Coastal areas as well. For more information contact the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, ODFW.
