Hood River County - Home Sales 2008-2009

If you're wondering how the real estate market has been doing in Hood River County here's the sales data from January 2008-July 2009. Home sales in both June and July 2009 were higher than 2008 June and July sales. Homes are selling but plan enough time to obtain your loan. from my experience loans in general have been taking longer. Time is running out for the $8,000 first time home buyer tax credit. If you want to take advantage of this, the home you purchase must close by Dec. 1, 2009 to qualify.
