Normally we don’t venture out of Washington County for parks, but it was over 90 degrees this day and we were over at my brother’s house for the car ride. Afterwards were looking for a way to cool down. As you can tell by the name of the park, it is located on the river.
We were hoping that it actually had river access for swimmers and not just boaters. We were in luck on this one! It actually didn’t have boat access and just people access. Boy did the kids enjoy getting in for a swim as a way to cool off.

There wasn’t much else in this park, no playground equipment or anything, but it did have plenty of parking, plenty of cool water on the Willamette, and even bathrooms which made it nice and made it so we didn’t have to leave.
If you are looking for a place to take pictures or just to dip your feet in the water to cool off, I suggest you check out Rivervilla Park in Milwaukie, Oregon. (Clackamas County)
