I choose to appreciate the little things in life, and while I do not profess to be a photographer, I love to take my digital camera everywhere that I go to capture EVERYTHING that I see. In the last month, I have taken some interesting pictures right out side of my office. I've seen HUGE spiders, black cats, beautiful flowers, and a lot more...
I don't know what kind of spider this is...
This is starting to feel like a Halloween theme...
We have a litter of Wild Cats that live in our parking lot...you should see the cat paw prints on my car!!!
This is right outside my office window!
This flower reminds me of a tropical flower that I would see in Hawaii.
It is beautiful. If anyone out there knows what it is called, please let me know!
So beautiful!
There's more to come of what I see right around my office...in another blog!

Bridget - You certainly take some great photos for not being a "photographer" and some interesting ones that make me think of Halloween! Good to see you!
Thank you, Candy, I appreciate your comments very much. I have to say it's a good thing that I don't have arachnophobia because a few months ago I was getting spider bites every night when I slept! It was horrible, but I'm still not afraid of spiders. I think they are amazing and beautiful in their own way.
The flower is a hibiscus.
Beautiful my friend. I too love the simple things in life. Many people look for expensive possessions to bring them happiness and I love the simple things that God blesses us with each and every day.
Bridget, the two shots you took of the flower are excellent!!!
Bridget - Thanks for sharing a bit of your area with us. Nicely done! Thanks also for being a faithful reader of my blog. I am a subscriber to yours as well.
Karen, thank you. The closest guess I could come to was Solanum Rantonnetii (Royal Robe), of the solanaceae family, which looks like this:
Oddly enough, I just got a tattoo of a hibiscus (sorry dad!) and I didn't even make the connection that they could be the same flower :)
George T., thank you! I feel like everyday is an adventure and that I'm on a scavenger hunt with my camera, just capturing beautiful, random things. It's fun :)
George S., thank you for your complimentary comment! It's always nice to hear from you.
Jason, you are welcome! It is my pleasure. I look forward to more from you.
these are beautiful photos even the spider
look at you little miss photographer! haha...I hate spiders! But yes it was starting to have a Halloween feel to it.
