We all know Central Oregon is associated with skiing, fishing, hiking and various other outdoor activ
ities. Many people may not be aware that Central Oregon is a great place to play tennis. With the summer approaching the tennis nets are being put up all over Sunriver ~ Yippie. After spending the winter playing indoors at Sage Springs and the Bend Athletic Club, I can't wait to play outside.
Beginning June 15th outdoor clinics will be held at the Sunriver Resorts courts every day. So plan on packing that tennis racquet when you come to Central Oregon this summer.
There are two tennis tournaments scheduled in Sunriver this summer. A Jr. Tournament June 20 - 22 and a Senior Tournament August 20 - 24. For more information on both you may go the Sunriver Home Owners Website or USTA.
See you on the courts ~ and watch out for my forehand!

Way to go Kelly you blogging gal.
I want to be there when your showing off that forehand. :) Go Girl Go.
Kelly,
Great blooging, maybe you should give me some lessons someday:) :)
Kelly - I admire anyone who plays - I trip over a crack in the sidewalk and have two left feet.... thanks for sharing this great part of Sunriver with all of us
Hey Kelly - are you still up?? Great article on tennis and nice tie to Sunriver. I hope that the weather warms up soon for you so that you can play outside! It was nice to see you tonight - thanks for coming.
Kelly, I'm so ready for summer... Great job on the blog!
Kelly, Welcome to ActiveRain and congratulations on your first blog post. What a great idea, starting with a pastime you love.
Kelly ~ Congrats on your decision to both join AR and be an active part of it. I have not been to Sunriver in quite some time. I am at Black Butte Ranch more often! :-)
Looks like tons of fun... our family is quite into tennis- we have the opposite problem though... we have a heat issue a couple months of the year.
