Sometimes life, like baseball, hands us a curveball. Health issues, a slowing economy, whatever it may be, life isn't always throwing right down the middle, where we can hit a home run and get everything we want.
But, sometimes all it takes is to just keep swinging, and eventually we will hit that ball out of the park! This picture below is one of my players from my single A baseball team that I coach. It makes me smile every time I see it.
She just smiles and swings and continues to do so. When this picture was taken she finally got that hit! It reminds me of me, I have failed many times, but that doesn't mean I stop swinging.
So swing for the stands and may you eventually hit that home run!

Todd, great picture. Can't tell for sure but looks like her eyes are closed at the moment of impact - is this confidence, just going with the flow, or savoring the moment? Anyway, it works.
Great shot of a hard effort. Try ,Try and Try again. My sons efforts have doubled from failing and then getting after it gain. Practice will make perfect!

Awesome Todd -- Yes we take those swings, we get feedback from the hits we make -- or don't make --- and we become better sluggers each time we are up to bat!

Man oh man Todd, I hear ya! Just grab that bat and swing away! Life's after all what you make it right? What's the point in sitting there all "down in the dumps"? Where will that get us? Nowhere fast!
