Fresh, red and juicy, Oregon Strawberries are ready!

Every year I wait for the arrival of the Strawberry barn in the neighborhood Ace Hardware parking lot. It's arrival signal's one of the best times of the year in the valley!

If you have a chance stop by the Nielson Family Strawberry Stand and purchase container of berries you will be so happy you did. Berries are picked fresh daily and at the stand by 9:00am. This years crop is a little bit late, but with all the rain and snow we had in April, I was afraid we wouldn't see many berries at all. According to Mrs. Nielson, berries will be available until the first of July.
