This is a picture of Mt. Bachelor. I took this along with several other photos this weekend while out with my girls. My initial reason was to have more photos to use in my posts as well as for Localism.com. I found that once I was out shooting, I found a new reason. A reminder, so to speak.
While taking these breathtaking photos, I remembered why I moved to Central Oregon. I revisited that feeling of being surrounded by absolute beauty and tranquility. I looked around my city and realized again how very much I love this place. From the amazing views to the truly incredible people here, Central Oregon is a spectacular place to call home.
Two days was not near enough time to photograph 1/10th of the scenery here in Central Oregon, but I wanted to share this small piece with all of you. These are taken mostly from downtown Bend and Awbrey Butte.

When I downloaded these, it was almost spiritual. I realized again how lucky I am to live and work here in this paradise and how fortunate I am to call Central Oregon my home.
