Are We Using Band Aids On An Amputee Patient?

Do you know one of the things that I love most about living in Southern Oregon, and having businesses tied to the housing industry, like my home loan mortgage brokerage and the window & door store my husband operates here in Ashland Oregon? It's that not only has our quality of life improved so that we may take the time to enjoy where we live and work, but it's that we can take the time to be involved in our community. We can even write letters to our House and Senate representatives - AND expect a response!

Letter to US Senator Ron Wyden OregonSenator Ron Wyden Oregon Letter Feb 2009

Do you communicate with your State and Federal Senators and Congresspersons? Are you satisfied with the monumental decisions that they are making on your behalf? For all our sakes, I sincerely hope you do...

See You Out There!

Karen Great letter. I think you said everything a lot of us are feeling and you said it so well. Great job! I do write my reps and I am a legislative liason for Tuolumne County Assoc. of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors. Thanks for getting involved and being informed.

Thanks, Kathie. And thank YOU for doing your part for my favorite Gold Rush Country, Tuolumne County California.

Karen, I emailed my senators earlier today. Although I will say I am not satisfied with the monumental decisions they are making. This stimulus package is just loan up and expands way beyond economic recovery. It seems impossible for congress to deal with the issue at hand.

Jay

Karen - Great letter and thanks for sharing. I appreciate your initiative and follow through. Keep it up.

Thanks for your kind words, George. And thanks for stopping by.

Hi Jay - Glad to hear you are staying in touch with your elected officials on this. I hope our efforts have them paying much closer attention than they did on TARP, don't you?
