Hey Fred, Well that looks to me like a picture colored with an orange crayon - I can't believe the deep color there - wow - that must have been an incredible sunset to watch!  Thanks for sharing! 

Hi Fred: I'd assume the color is caused by dust particles in the air, but can't say I have ever in my life seen a sky that color. Did you take that photo? Is that what Oregon looks like at sunset?

Elizabeth - I did take the picture from my back yard. I honestly don't know why it was that color, I think it had to do with the amount of light and my camera, it wasn't that vivid when I was watching it, but close.

Oregon sunsets are the best...she wait, we don't want to tell anyone that do we.

Me too, me too. Sunrise comes too early in the morning, although lately, my Shi-tzu won't let me sleep anyway. I may have to shoot a sunrise.
