I had a night shot of the Springfield Bridge yesterday, so I thought I would try some effects to get the full moon tonight. Here goes:
I used my BBQ as my tripod and it didn't do such a great job but not too bad.
This is an effect called night shot. It gives a rather interesting outworldly perspective.
Overall, I am not really impressed with the way they came out, but they certainly show the full moon. Now, it is almost pumpkin time, so good night.

So THAT'S the reason today was a wild ride? Explains a lot. Thanks for the moon glow.
Fred, strange things have been reported to have happened during a full moon. Maybe it's an old wives tale but it does seem to be more of a coincidence lol. When I was teaching, student behaviors seemed to be a bit different during a full moon and of course I should never play golf during those times also. Of course, my golf game has strange quirks no matter what kind of moon is out there.. lol.. Great pictures!
Pat, what else can we blame it on. It certainly can't be because a lot of smart people made stupid mistakes, can it?
Jon, sorry about your golf game. I used to unlock cars for AAA and we could be guaranteed twice to three times as many calls on a full moon. There may not be anything scientific about it, but I definitely saw strange things when the moon came out full.
BTW, the blips near the bottom of the second picture are UFOs. They are coming for dinner tonight. :-D
Fred, My dad was an Oregon State Trooper and he has STORIES like you wouldn't believe of the Curse of the Full Moon!
Leslie, I would believe the stories. I don't care how many studies say there is nothing about a full moon, been there, done that!
Well, that explains this unusual growth on my neck;-)
lol @ Jason's comment.
I always notice an increase in overall "weirdness" during a full moon.
Jason, are you having to shave 6-8 times a day too?
Kristina, full moon is a wierd time. Always.
I haven't noticed the full moon/weirdness connection myself, but the longer I'm on this planet, the weirder life seems to me!
I can tell you're having a lot of fun with your camera Fred. What make and model is it? I like your high-tech BBQtripod!
Bobby, scientist will tell you the full moon doesn't have an effect on humans. I think that is bull. As for the camera, it is a Sony Cybershot 5.0. High tech is my middle name. LOL
The full moon was a spectacular sight here the other night - large & low in the sky at dusk with grayish pastels, it was simply a delight - great shots!
Thanks Deborah, I appreciate the compliment.
Fred, nice try. LMAO @ Jason S. I was having the strangest dreams last night about three black ships sailing in the clouds. Very wicked. Full moon, eh? Hmm... :-)
Carolyn, three is a very significant number. Not sure why, but being a prime number on a full moon probably means you will sell a $3 million house this week to a sailor. How's that for dream reading?
