Bull Mountain, Oregon

Bull Mountain, Oregon is an affluent neighborhood on the western edge of the City of Tigard. It is not really a mountain but an 800 foot hill that offers territorial views. This neighborhood generally features large houses on large lots. Single family homes generally start at $400,000. The feel of Bull Mountain is not quite rural, but it is definitely not urban. Many farms and roadside stands, offering Christmas trees, berries, apples, vegetables, and pumpkins line the western edge of Bull Mountain.

Most of Bull Mountain is in unincorporated Washington County. A small portion is in the City of Tigard. The City of Tigard has tried in the past to annex Bull Mountain. Residents organiBull Mountain Homezed and campaigned against this annexation with success. Residents tried to incorporate Bull Mountain into a city, but that measure failed. It seems inevitable the Tigard will annex Bull Mountain in small pieces.

Bull Mountain residents attend schools in the Tigard - Tualatin School District, which has some of the top schools in Oregon. Students and faculty are recognized each year for their outstanding achievements.

Living in Bull Mountain generally offers quietness and privacy, but easy access to shopping and freeways. The superb shopping at Washington Square and Bridgeport Village is less than 15 minutes away. Restaurants and supermarkets are at the bottom of the hill, 5 minutes away, as are drug stores and the post office along with 2 nine hole golf courses. Downtown Portland is about 25 minutes away and the airport is about 40 minutes.

Bull Mountain is a great neighborhood and a fine place to raise a family.
