Donate To Purple Heart At The First Drive Through GreenDrop Charitable Donation Center in Aston, Delaware County, PA

The gas station had been closed for a while at the Five Points intersection in Aston, PA but now it has reopened with a new purpose…. It is a drive through drop off center for the Purple Heart.

I noticed the sign the other day and thought, that's different...A collection center instead of scheduling a pick-up for the Purple Heart. Collections by truck are still an option, this is an alternative to a scheduled pick-up.

This is a pilot center calling itself GreenDrop Charitable Donation Center. “Green” because it offers the opportunity to keep things out of local landfills.

Donors just have to drive up to the door and attendants will unload your donations from your car while you remain in your car. A receipt will be given for tax purposes.

The drive through center is open 7 days a week:

Monday – Friday 8AM to 8PM

Saturday 8AM to 6PM

Sunday 10AM to 6PM

The Purple Heart, just in case you are not aware, is an organization that helps wounded Veterans with donations of household items.
