Horsham grants preliminary approval for redevelopment of Golf Zone
The Horsham Planning Commission recently granted preliminary approval to New Jersey-based Develcom Development Company to construct a bank, four-story hotel and a Car-Mart on the site where the Golf Zone sits at 1020 Easton Road. Develcom has agreed to address storm water and grading issues at the site. Although Develcom has worked to gain approval of variances from the township's zoning hearing board, there is no timetable for the next step of development.
There are also plans to redevelop the area of Pine Run Corners located at Horsham and Dresher Road. Still waiting for final details but I have been hearing of a 24hour CVS, new bank, new eateries and a few small businesses with the addition of sidewalks and landscaping.
Horsham was voted the 13th best place to live in the country and changes like these will keep adding to the value.
