I have been showing homes in Lititz over the past few weeks. The older homes are similar with bay windows, wrap around porches, large garages - some with room to park one or more cars.
I do love Lititz - Lititz Springs Park, the shops on Main, Wilbur chocolate...
Today I stopped by the General Sutter Inn for a cup of soup.
Located at the corner of Broad & Main Streets, the Sutter Inn has been a Hotel/Inn since 1764.
The spiced chicken corn soup was served good and hot and a little spicy - cream based with corn, chicken, pepper, and some bits of carrot, too.
The pear, walnut & spinach salad was light, crunchy and served with a light celery dressing.
The dining room was full and so was the adjacent Bulls Head Pub, which serves craft beers and fodd as well. The Bulls Head Pub offers 14 rotating draughts, two cask engines and eighty+ bottles of beer and they are not all British! You will only find craft beers from England, Belgium and America. You won't find Bud, Miller or Coors here. I had the "Roy Pitz Lay Down Stay Down Belgain Strong Ale" which was very smooth.
I have been coming here to eat over the past 20 years (mostly for lunch) and it seems to be getting better and better. There are plans now to make the lounge currently in the Sutter Inn section into a martini bar next year.
If you are looking to buy or sell in the Lititz area, please call me for a home valuation report or a list of homes currently on the market.
