" Balloon Festival's"..." nite glow " Western Pa coming to a close

Hope you enjoy the slide show of the events leading up to the Western Pennsylvania's " Nite Glow" Hot Air Balloon festival celebration.

To the many calls that I received about the " Balloon Quest " I hope the following information will give you some idea about what is scheduled for tonight's festivities, as for the launches...I am sorry....but ..the decision to launch is up to the balloonist and they are the experts on weather conditions for the launch. Let's hope for clear skies............

The celebration continues at Scotland Meadows Park in Union Township, New Castle. Lawrence County. .......Saturdays events and include:

• the balloon launch from 6"00 AM until 7:00AM
• The Union Lions Club Pancake pancake and sausage breakfast the fire hall.
• The Tethered Balloon rides.(.weather permitting }
• 6:00 AM to 5:00 AM The Balloon
  
• 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM launch.

O Sunday events include

• Church Service in the Meadows " Washington Union Alliance Church "
  
• the popular Union Firefighters...car and truck show.
• 6:00 AM and 7:00 Balloon launch final launch
• Live entertainment by the " Dorals "
  
• Fireworks by Pyrotecnico
