Green Bay Packers aka Cheeseheads vs Philadelphia Eagles

What a great NFC play off match up today....

This is going to be a very very good game.. well, on paper it should be. We all know anything can happen. I am a die hard Eagles fan and I am a little nervous. The Eagles need to protect Michael Vick... LeSean McCoy needs to have a good game running and with the screen passes. They also need to get DeSean Jackson involved early... the Eagles are 12-3 when Jackson catches at least one pass in the first quarter and are 3-5 when he is shut out in the first quarter... Lastly... Asante Samuel needs 1 interception... and the defense needs to pressure Aaron Rodgers...

This is scary... Aaron Rodgers has gotten better. He is 3rd in the NFL in QB rating over 104 and Michael Vick is 4th overall with like a 103.1 QB rating. The Eagles did pick off Rodgers twice in week 1 and need to do the same today to have a chance. Vick will need protection and when he runs, he needs to protect the ball better.

It will be cold down there.... this won't bother the Packers... but how will Michael Vick play? He needs to think and not over-react.... Sure, the Eagles lost 2 in a row, but the last game didn't mean a thing and the Eagles played mostly their 2nd and 3rd string players. But the loss to the Minnesota Vikings was very disappointing. Hopefully the Eagles watched game film, because I guarantee the Packers did...

My Pick? As I mentioned, I love the Eagles... my heart is with them... but the Eagles defense will have to come up big to keep this game in check. My football sense takes the Packers... but I am still sticking with Vick and the Eagles... they make it happen today...
