There is some help available for Pennsylvanians who are facing foreclosure.
PHFA, the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, which was created 35 years ago to provide affordable housing for older adults, families & individuals of modest means and persons with disabilities, is offering assistance under ACT 91 of 2003.
There are some qualifications and the complete information from PHFA about HEMAP (Homeowners Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program is on the agency website.
