
Located east of Downtown Pittsburgh and right on the city's border, the neighborhood of Regent Square is a compact, walkable community with the appeal of a small town and the sophisticated amenities of a big city. Regent Square real estate appeals strongly to families, as well as to young professionals and students. Both the Carnegie Mellon University, Chatham University and the University of Pittsburgh are located close by. The neighborhood's commercial center is located along South Braddock Avenue and extends for approximately two blocks. The area, which features a mix of shops, cafés, restaurants and venues like the Regent Square Theater, can easily be explored on foot, which adds to its appeal.
