NJ Sierra Club, NJ Highlands Coalition, Delaware Riverkeeper, Save the Park & Stop the Lines are protesting the plans by PPL Electric Utilities in PA & PSE&G in NJ for a 2 state transmission project aimed at alleviating peak-demand electrict shortages. Organizers will discuss during the hike as to what can be done to stop the project of replacing 80 foot towers with 195 foot high towers.
