Pennsylvania Treasury has nearly $2 Billion Dollars in Unclaimed Property

One in 10 Pennsylvanians has unclaimed property that includes closed bank accounts, uncashed checks, including paychecks, lost stocks and bonds, contents of safe deposit boxes, proceeds from the demutualization of insurance companies and expired gift cards and gift certificates.

Visit the Office of the State Treasurer's website, www.patreasury.org, to search the unclaimed property database, which contains nearly $2 billion in unclaimed property, or call 1-800-222-2046. Staff will assist you in recovering your property free of charge.
