6. CNNMoney.com ranks the Scranton/Wilkes Barre metro area as the 7th fastest growing real estate market in the country.

7.You can paint the walls purple and not have to worry about what the owner will say.

1. Don't buy if you can't afford to. It really depends on your individual situation. Only buy once you have spoken with a mortgage professional you trust.
