Summertime vegetables grown here in Bucks County

Time to enjoy some summertime for your mouth! There's nothing better than fresh from the farm vegetables grown right here in Bucks County. Here are a few markets open or opening to whet your appetite. Let us know about your favorite roadside markets.

  • The Tomato Lady: Route 212 in Richlandtown near the Seven-Eleven. Delicious tomatoes, home grown strawberries, beets, asparagus, radishes and white corn. Saturday and Sundays
  • The Grange Hall. in Plumsteadville on Route 611. Large selection of morning fresh vegetables including tomatoes, potatoes, beans, squash, cauliflower, broccoli, etc. Also great homemade pastry, breads and scones and jams and sometimes fresh pie. Saturdays
  • Coopersburg Farmers Market. On Route 309 across from the Coopers burg Diner at the baseball fields. Lots of farmers bring their vegetables in for one of the larger markets in the area. All home-grown vegetables with some unusual offerings including okra and sweet and hot peppers, watermelons, tiny gourmet potatoes and more. Saturdays.
