Head East from Penn State University down Rt 45 towards Lewisburg and Bucknell University and when you get beyond Spring Mills take a right or a left on any of the country roads. The chances are great that you will meander up and down the hills bordered by sweet alfalfa fields and encroaching fields of seven foot tall corn. The chances are also great that you will come around a bend in the road and find milk jugs on the side of the road filled with the unpasteurized creamy white stuff normally found in the back aisle of your local supermarket. Yes, even in the 21st century there are Amish farmers still producing milk the way it was done in the 1800's and you can see them on a daily basis in Penns Valley.
I highly recommend a Sunday drive in the Penns Valley countryside just east of Penn State University.
