An Auction for the Arts

Block of Art 2012 will soon be here and with it will come a number of new events. One of these is the art auction planned for Sunday, April 22 at the Sovereign Majestic Theatre. The art for the auction will be able to be viewed in the special auction gallery during the first two days of the Block of Art. A silent auction will also be held at the gallery.

Those in attendance at the auction will be able to bid on and take home some excellent local art. The best part is that they will also be supporting the Block of Art and the Sovereign Majestic Theatre. Come support the arts, the artists and the theatre on this afternoon of artistic enjoyment.

Call to Artists and Volunteers

Pottsville's Block of Art (April 20,21,22) has issued its Call to Artists to preregister new pieces for the 2012 show. The online form is available through the Participate Menu option on the Block of Art website. Additionally, links are available for Volunteering and ART MART participation.
