Where Do I Find An Agent To Help Me Buy?

You've Already Made The Decision That Buying A Home Is What You Want To Do. You Realize This Is A Good Time To Buy & Are Ready For The Responsibility. Next You Go To Your Computer & Start The Search.

You go to the real estate sites in your area that come up and start tagging the homes that fit your price range and style you are looking for. You pick up your phone make an appointment to see one. You drive thru the neighborhood then go to the home. The agents there to meet you and you walk thru the house and are now disappointed on the size or condition. The agents ask you questions but are you sure this agent is going to be the best one for you?

Here are some ways to get an agent that will work for you and make you feel comfortable as a buyer

  1. By Referral! Do you know anyone who bought a house recently. Were they happy with there service they received from their agent. Did they accommodate there needs & could be contacted easily.
  2. Do you have a friend or relative in the real estate business? Take them seriously! They will appreciate that you thought of them. It may not always be the best choice but if you feel that they are serious about selling you a house then they are.
  3. Market Area. Is there an agent that knows your area better than any other. These agents have listing everywhere. Do they Work With Buyers? Or Do They Have A Buyer's Agent That Works With Just Buyers?
  4. Internet. Does someone have a great website that tells you about the schools, you can search for home easily, and provides you with local market information. Are you contacted with an old friend thru facebook that is now a Realtor? Do they have updated blogs?
  5. Open Houses. You walk in and the agent provides you with the right information and you have great conversation. They may suggest some properties that you may like and fit your needs. They follow up and check in to see if you need help.
