Uniontown PA is located in Southwestern Pennsylvania approximately 50 miles Southeast of Pittsburgh. In the early part of the 20th century it was said that approximately 13 millionaires lived in Uniontown. Evidence of this are the many mansion style homes in Uniontown, many of which have been refurbished. Downtown Uniontown has been revitalized and many shops and restaurants are located on and around Main Street.
Nemacolin Woodlands Golf and Ski Resort is a 5 star Resort in the Laurel Highlands Mountain area and is located approximately 15 minutes from Uniontown. Uniontown is the County Seat of Fayette County.
