This weekend is the big "Community Day Event" in West Goshen Park. Lots of people participate and there are crafters and food stands. It is on a much smaller scale than the events that take place in the borough of West Chester. Lots of good FALL Events are happening there.
On Thursday evening, Sept 6th the last "SWINGING THURSDAY ENTERTAINMENT EVENT" is happening in downtown West Chester. This is when they close 2 blocks in the town and have a band and restaurant seating in the streets of the designated blocks. They do this once a month on the 1st Thursday of the month in Summer months. This should be extra fun because the college is in session and some of the students may also be uptown as well as "families".
From my house in West Goshen, we may even ride bikes to town. It takes about 15 minutes to ride, 3 minutes to drive.
The following weekend, September 16th is the RESTAURANT FESTIVAL. I am sure this year it will bigger than ever, usually one cannot even walk through the crowds. The food is Yummy.
