Congrats to the York Rev's Atlantic League Champs

Congrats to the York Rev's Atlantic League Champs

York RevolutionThe York Revolution won their first Atlantic League Championship saturday night by defeating the Bridgeport Bluefish 5 to 4 completing a 4 game sweep. Last year the Revs were worst in the league, but with first year manager Andy Etchebarren (of Baltimore Orioles fame) calling the shots from the dugout they went from worst to champs. York did it in fine fashion to boot coming from a 4 - 1 deficit to win in 10 innings.

While obtaining my York Savvy designation I was given a behind the scenes tour of the Rev's home, Sovereign Bank Stadium. A nice place to both play as well as attend a game in the stands. The addition of the York Revolution to the York City landscape has been a resounding success. A celebration is scheduled for Monday at noon in York's Continental Square.

Congrats to the York Revolution for a job well done.
