The only Ferry service in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island is located in southeastern PEI on the Northumberland Strait. The service goes from Wood Islands, PEI to Caribou, Nova Scotia.
-Northumberland Ferries LTD operates with 2 ferries during the peak summer season, and one ferry the rest of the time. The 2 ferries are the Confederaton, and the Holiday Island. It takes about 75 minutes to cross from PEI to Nova Scotia, and they travel at 14 knots.
- Near the Wood Islands Ferry Terminal in PEI is the beautiful Norhumberland Park. It is run by the PEI government, and has a beautiful ocean sand beach, etc.
