RE/MAX Realty Professionals held our grand opening and ribbon cutting in Anderson SC on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 100A Miracle Mile Drive.

Anderson's Mayor, Terence Roberts, cut the ribbon at 3:30 p.m. along with the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce and several of the state's representatives including: Senator Kevin Bryant, Congressman, Representatives Jeff Duncan, Don Bowen, Anne Thayer and Paul Agnew.

The open house was a festive event attended by all of our RE/MAX agents, chamber members, neighboring businesses, city and state officials and many associates including some of the friendly competition from other real estate agencies. Catering was provided by Sullivans and the food was outstanding as usual.

After months of remodeling we are finally open in our new office space. Residents of Anderson that follow the real estate market may recall that RE/MAX Foothills Realty dropped their affiliation with RE/MAX in October of last year. Those of us that chose to stay with RE/MAX, finally found a home when the Greenville RE/MAX Realty Professionals purchased the franchise for the Anderson market. It took months of searching to find the perfect location for the new office and during that time we (the agents that stayed with RE/MAX) had several smaller office spaces all over town. It is great to finally have the RED, WHITE, AND BLUE sign with the RE/MAX name and logo on an official office so that we are all under one roof once again.

Through all fo this change and turmoil our RE/MAX office has remained leaders in the real estate market of Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens Counties.
