I am beginning to wonder how I ever made it without texting. I am certainly saving my vocal chords more these days, using acronyms as if they were going out of style, and "lol" and ":)" are my new best friends.
My clients text me...ALOT, and that is ok with me. I am able to answer their questions quickly and effectively even while they are at work. My clients can also go back and review our conversations when needed.
It is also a great way for me to keep records of the numerous issues that arise during the day. I agree that this texting thing is new ground but so far..so good.
I couldn't resist this picture of one of my favorite clients texting away....

I text a lot too, It is a quick easy way to communicate when you dont really need a true 2 way conversation. funny how something that we thought was silly a few years ago has become so mainstream!
And it is the easiest way to get my kids to respond!
We switched over to unlimited texting last year. We love it and use it a ton.
My husband hates it but I think it is always best to ask how they would prefer to be contacted. If they text you first that would be a good sign that it is ok with them.
I love texting for communication, I am busy so they must be too.
I find text to be extremely convenient, and do it a lot with other agents. It can be done during a stolen moment while showing property, in the grocery store, etc. - a GREAT way to communicate important stuff more quickly than a phone call. After all, there are times when a call is inappropriate but you need to send or receive info.
I think it's only a matter of time before EVERYONE is texting EVERYONE and we'll need to upgrade to unlimited text instead of unlimited minutes.
I text a whole lot since it's so much easier and faster than a telephone call or email.
I used the text feature all the time. I would rather text you a reply in the moment than for a client go to voice mail.
Texting is great for those follow up questions and confirming showing appointments, you don't have to deal with the small talk. Plus you have a history of the conversations.
I love texting now. Saves so much time. Also great for early morning or later evening as well as tracking thinks. I talk alot and it saves so much. I did resist at first until I got a better phone.
I so agree - I'm an addict........i find it to be an efficient use of time, I can get back to my clients quicker......not to mention a great tracking record! And i have to agree it does save time by eliminating some of the small talk :-) Although sometimes 'small talk' is a good thing!
I like to text. Not too many of my customers do yet, but it seems to be the best way to get a short quick answer out.
As long as you aren't texting while driving or when you should be paying attention to friends, families or clients then it is a great way to communicate!
Cherimie, so glad to hear from my favorite Beaufort Realtor! Sounds like you have mastered the texting, I have been texting with my 20 something kids for some time! It also is apparent that you are very busy, you go lady! Semper Fi
Hey Cherimie,
I wonder if his D.I. had texted him to drop and give him 20...it will probably come to that. All D.I. texting has no option but ALL CAPS!!!
Have a great one...
Where would we be today without all our gizmos? Isn't technology just wonderful...

Hi Cherimie,
Great picture! I guess I'm one of those that's a little slow to get on the texting bandwagon. I have a few associates or clients that text quite a bit. But I'm just so slow at it that it's still a bit cumbersome. : )
Hi Cherimie,
This is a fantastic photo! I agree with Michael technology is wonderful!!
