On Wednesday, January 13th, 2010, there will be a rally at the statehouse in Columbia South Carolina to oppose the South Carolina Point of Sale Tax. Property Taxes are devastaing the real estate market and economy in South Carolina. The General Assembly must act now to ensure property taxes are fair for all. The Beaufort County Association of Realtors will have a bus heading to the event the morning of the 13th. The rally starts with a member briefing at 11:00 on the Statehouse steps.
