Swamp Thing at Magnolia Plantation

If you’re ready for a localized fright, head on over to Magnolia Plantation. Starting tonight and running through Halloween night, the Charleston plantation is hosting "Swamp Thing" that features Gullah tales and other frights.

Visitors can sip "swamp juice" (green Kool Aid) outside while watching the movie "Swamp Thing," the 1982 cult horror classic filmed in the nearby South Carolina swamps.

The eerie events, which continue through Halloween night, also include Gullah folk tales, night tram rides and a bonfire with marshmallows.
