Caughman Ridge is a small neighborhood in southeast Columbia that was built in the mid-2000s.  It is conveniently located just a block away from Caughman Road Elementary School for families with young children.  The Caughman name shows up frequently because back in the day the Caughman families were large landholders whose farms and fields covered the area.  The road that led to their homes was named Caughman Road.

The homes in Caughman Ridge range from about 1200 to 1700 square feet with attached garages.  There are currently three homes for sale in the neighborhood listed for $126,900 to $139,900.
