Listen. Other parts of the country that endure harsh winters each year full of snow, ice, and arctic temperatures can laugh and point all they want. SNOW is a big deal in South Carolina! As a matter of fact, schools let out early today at the MENTION of the PROSPECT of snow. Click here for closings, cancellations, and delays. We are currently predicted to have 1-3 inches of snow in the Greater Columbia Area, SC's beautiful state capital, where historically we have an average high temperature of around 60 degrees this time of year. Right now, today, February 12, it's 39 degrees and dropping!
(Cutest snow photo ever taken, right here!)
So, put on your snow gear. (In South Carolina, that means you just have to wear two of your normal coats.) Get the cameras ready! Let the kids play until they can't feel their fingers! We won't see this again for quite some time!
