I've been pondering this past week about the best way to let everyone know I want more business. There have been several ways I've tried that were pretty expensive.

They got some results -but you have to keep doing them every month to stay in the minds of the people, so I started a new campaign that would always be in front of people where they would see me everyday.

I suddenly remembered that we have pretty cool personalized tags here in South Carolina.
Of course, with the rising gas prices a lot of people are walking to work, so I worked a deal with the city to install these around town so I could be contacted pretty quick.
And to take advantage of our tourist spots I bought a Star in Hollywood, SC (yes, there is a Hollywood, SC)
Of course you can't forget Myrtle Beach one our biggest tourist attractions
Then I took it one step further and started thinking about captive audiences on the local level -right here in the community. Since South Carolina is a football state, I coughed up the dough to have the cheerleaders cheer for me -since our college teams aren't doing so hot!
This worked pretty good in the high schools too so I tried some old school marketing.
Then I realized that I had to build Consumer Confidence in the Economy so I partnered with a local soup company to help me out.
Unfortunately, this just freaked a lot of people out...
So I tried to motivate groups of people at their jobs where they spend most of their lives...
Then I decided to take out a personal ad
but I ended up having to tell a lot of ladies and a couple of guys that I'm very happily married.
With the elections at our door -I figured I'd capitalize on all the buttons people are wearing
and the one I wear everywhere
We have a lot of social events including Chamber of Commerce Breakfasts so I bought the backs of all the place cards
but no one ever looked at the back of the cards...
Then I remembered I had not contacted my past clients in a while so I sent them all this
that's right a Mixed Tape tells the ones you love how you feel about them - again, I had to tell a lot of folks that I'm happily married...
Speaking of happily married, my wife has always told me that she is attracted to the back of my head so I decided it wouldn't hurt to do this...
boy, was I wrong!
Still not wanting to give up on a good idea I decided to make it interactive for folks...
but I didn't think about how much pain this would cause me.
So I'm left with the BEST way that I should have started with anyway, letting my friends here on Active Rain know how to send me business
Hi, my name is Brian Foxworth. I would love to help you close more deals by Approving your Clients with the Conventional, FHA, VA, State Housing and Rural Housing programs I still have available in SC, NC, GA, TN, and FL. Since I'm a Lender and not a mortgage broker, I have more control over the fees and time frame we need to work in with my Underwriter and Closing Coordinator here in-house. Give me a call or email me a client's info that I can get Approved for you. I'm Brian Foxworth and I Approve this message.
