The area will be the home to 10,000 homes, area schools, churches, a hospital, winding bike trails and a 120 acre lake. The developers have donated land to Berkeley County School District for a brand new high school and elementary school. Cane Bay High is scheduled to be complete in the Fall of 2008 and will accomodate 1500 students. The elementary school will follow in 2009 and will be located across the street from the high school.
